Even from a culinary point of view, there’s nothing missing when you stay with us. For lunch and dinner, you are free to visit one of the many excellent restaurants in our immediate neighbourhood. Too many options? Have a look at our personal favourites. All of them are family-run establishments where quality, service, and ambience leave nothing to be desired.

Dorfstadl
It’s a family affair. Claudia, Christoph, and the kids have everything under control in their Dorfstadl. You’ll be well looked after and will feel right at home in the traditionally furnished ambience. Our tip: a traditional hot stone barbecue.
Dorfkrug
Bling, bling, Alpine charm: hardly any restaurant in Kaprun knows how to set the scene like Dorfkrug. What a feast for the palate and the eyes.
Hilberger’s Beisl
Our awarding winning restaurant in Kaprun, currently with a toque by Gault&Millau. Andrea and Wolfgang offer traditional dishes with a twist in their cosy restaurant. And what’s best? The restaurant is only 150 metres away from us.
Panorama Restaurant
Small, fine, and with a magnificent view: there is no better way to describe this restaurant. Peter, the senior chef, went to school with me (Andreas) and is a passionate hunter. Hence our recommendation: game in all its varieties.
Der Auhof
Another family affair. Sabina and Gerald impress their guests with their creativity and passion. Tip: Be sure to try the ice cream specialities produced in-house.
Tafern
Another favourite of ours. In addition to the culinary highlights, guests get the best wine recommendations from Herbert, who is both the owner and a qualified sommelier.
Baumbar
Well-known by those have known Kaprun for a while. This is not only the most famous dance spot in town, but also a top-class restaurant. Fill up on calories and burn them off right away – brilliant!
